Following the history of Lord Richard Fouad MacLeod, you would discover that he had received classical training on the Arabic style of Calligraphy as a child, growing up in Saudi Arabia. Moving into the adult world, Lord MacLeod attended the Fine Arts institutes in the United States and in the United Kingdom; attending many Calligraphy workshops which extended his expertise—and travels—to span out as far as Egypt before migrating back to finish said studies in the United Kingdom. It was in this time that Dr. Samir Malik provided private tuition to accomplish such endeavors for Lord Richard MacLeod.
Thirty long years of deep, intensive studies including research and practice, Lord MacLeod managed to accomplish being an acclaimed poet, an award winning photographer, and a filmmaker with appraise reaching as far as well known artists such as Tim Tate, Michael Nyman, Dr. Manny Ling, Khaled Sabaa, Abdulghani Shoair, and Mohsen Mansour… naming just a few of the known artists as well as his worldly acclaimed appreciation for his whimsical style and beautiful Arabic Calligraphy artistry.
Lord MacLeod had solo and group exhibitions in the United Kingdom, the United States, Turkey, and even Egypt as his art form becomes a true reflection of his diversity driven portfolio; a masterpiece in its own which houses multiple unique artistic styles.
