Arabic calligraphy in particular is the most supreme form of art in Islam. The development of Civilisation, Culture and Collective Taste over the centuries as well as the contributions of many nations Arabs and non-Arabs Muslim and non-Muslims made the Arabic calligraphy one of the most diverse and versatile art within Islam and probably in the world.
In the old days it would take long years to become a Master of the Pen. In the modern days and with the development of tools, education and communication, it still takes years for one to develop and master the skills and grasp the philosophy behind it to be able to give the world a profound and well made piece of Arabic Calligraphy art. Arabic calligraphy is a very demanding form of art.
